Please take a look at the feedback below from Carnival attendees from previous years!
We all had a fabulous time and all said the best carnival for years a really great feel with loads for the kids to do. Well done all involved.
We had a great time ? kids especially loved the animals! Thxs to everyone who made this event happen ?
Me and my family had a really good afternoon here today! Lots to do for the kids , lots of lovely food and treats to eat! A fun filled family day out. Well done to everybody who put the effort In! Xx
We had a great time, lovely food from Lymefield (love their cakes), bubble man is brilliant as were the circus skills. Bouncy castle and slide were fun, cheap toys for the kids so not too expensive and they were happy. We stroked the Haywill animals, held a tiny owl, played the tombolas, got ice cream and had a hot drink too. Also, tasted some amazing lamb bacon from Chisworth and listened to some lovely music. I think there was loads to do this year and so glad it wasn’t rained off. Well done to you all, thank you x
What an amazing day at Charlesworth and Chisworth carnival …
A Big “Thank you” to all the people who put in so much time and effort on a voluntary basis to pull off this annual event , which is full of community spirit and pride .
Everyone had a great time, and all the floats looked amazing!! Lots of hard work goes on behind the scenes to pull this off .
And if you’re on the committee, or stall holder, part of the parade or coming to support it . Thank you ? my boys always look forward to this tradition .
I was there dropping some things off for Haywill yesterday just before it started and it looked absolutely great…I thought the whole village looked lovely and was heartened to see so many people heading towards the carnival as we were leaving. Well done to all the volunteers who put in hours and hours of work to pull off such a great and well organised event for everyone 🙂
I thought it was really well organised. From shutting off the roads to social media posts, the bar now having taps, the variety of stalls and all from volunteers. I love coming back to the village catching up with people you only see at events like this. The fact that charlesworth can still have enough interest for a procession speaks volumes.
